Mark Dagg

Vice President, Creative

As Creative Vice President, Mark oversees PMSI creative efforts across all disciplines — traditional and online — facilitating creative integration and ensuring that strategic integrity is maintained. Mark guides the “big ideas” for campaigns and programs, continually challenging the creative staff to look beyond the obvious solutions and discover unique, compelling and highly effective creative solutions to help our clients achieve their objectives.

Mark has extensive experience in many different design disciplines, including advertising, corporate branding and identity systems, sales and marketing collateral, packaging and environmental design. This breadth of experience brings a strong belief and commitment to integration and the strength of consistency for our clients. Through his work with major corporations such as Nike, Intel, Dell, Birkenstock, Makita, Safeway, Honeywell and Simpson Strong-Tie, his perfectionist nature and passion for creative excellence drives every project to ensure that careful and deliberate consideration is given to every last detail.

Previously, he has worked as the CMO for videogame developer responDesign and as Creative Director on many high-tech accounts including Intel, SHARP, Microsoft, LANDesk, JPMorgan Chase and Symantec among others. Daniel has a BFA from San José State University.

Mark McCarthy

Creative Director, Print

Mark McCarthy leads creative development of all “traditional” media—from participating in the drafting of campaign strategy and plans to driving the development of ideas—as well as managing the design, production and implementation of all print projects.

Mark has more than 25 years of experience in advertising and design, with the last 21 here at PMSI. He has been directly responsible for developing integrated campaigns for a number of PMSI’s most high-profile clients, including Dell, Intel, Rain Bird, SWAT, Simpson Strong-Tie, and Makita.

While Mark has many strengths, what makes him so successful is his ability to listen to his clients and to the marketplace, and to develop marketing campaigns that respect the audience’s intelligence yet speak to them on a level that they can relate and respond to.
